At last, our students will receive the recognition they truly deserve. They dedicate years to rigorous study, navigating challenges just like any other degree student's. It's time that all their effort is celebrated and rewarded, even though these degrees aren't regulated, they are externally accredited by the voluntary professional association. The SNND registers and licenses NDs and DNs in the United Kingdom and ROI, Europe, voluntarily. Registration and licensure with the SNND demonstrates to the public and other professionals that they have completed a minimum of 4 years of training to the doctoral level, are safe, reflective practitioners, who are governed and bound by contract voluntarily, and can be held accountable.

By elevating these professions, we enhance educational and clinical standards, ensuring greater safety for our patients. Join us on this exciting journey-enrol in a course today.

How We Can Offer Professional Doctorates?

In the UK, only universities and a small number of statutory bodies can award regulated degrees.

Professions such as Naturopathy and Naprapathy are not currently regulated by law, which means there is no statutory pathway for degree recognition in these fields.

To raise academic and clinical standards - and to give our students the recognition they deserve - we have taken the most transparent route available:

  • We established a branch of UCHSc in Madrid, Spain, where awarding private, non-regulated degrees is common practice and fully legal.

  • Our doctorates are awarded through this Madrid branch, but are designed around UK higher education frameworks, ensuring academic and clinical rigour.

  • All programmes are externally accredited by the Society of Naturopathic & Naprapathic Doctors (SNND), which oversees voluntary registration and licensure in the UK and ROI.

Because UK law requires recognition of legitimate foreign degrees, our Madrid awards are recognised in the UK, especially in unregulated subject areas where no statutory pathway exists.

This does not devalue the degree. On the contrary:

  • Our courses are built to mirror regulated qualifications.

  • Our tutors hold degrees in allied health subjects. Hold regulated teaching, assessing, and quality assurance awards.

  • The quality of our graduates speaks for itself - safe, reflective practitioners who complete doctoral-level study and are accountable through voluntary registration.

Until statutory regulation is introduced in the UK, this is the highest standard currently possible in these professions, balancing transparency, quality, and patient safety.

Unregulated does not mean lower quality. Our professional doctorates follow the same quality benchmarks as regulated UK university programmes, with rigorous study, assessment, and clinical practice.
