This phlebotomy taster course is designed for complete beginners who want to explore career opportunities in phlebotomy and gain a clear understanding of the role. You’ll have the chance to learn some fundamentals and take part in hands-on practice using training arms, allowing you to experience the techniques in a safe and supportive environment. This gives you a realistic feel for the profession and helps you decide whether it’s the right path for you. If you wish, you can continue on to the professional certificate and count the hours from this course towards the professional certificate. This is a one- day course held on Monday, 20th April 2026 Start time is 9:30 am with a couple of breaks in between, and finishes at around 5:30 - 6:30 pm. The day is split into two. Theory phase in the morning and practical phase in the afternoon. Refreshments will be provided, and you can bring your own lunches if you wish. There is a cafe and lots of good places near us.
